fall break

This week was Fall Break, which has been a much needed break. I was supposed to go to Indiana, but the flights were full- so I stayed home and have the entire apartment to myself! Which is so nice not to have to worry about my roommates and being too loud! My cute best friend has slept over everyday this week and we have loads of fun. She is seriously the greatest and I love her! I can't wait for you all to meet her!
On Thursday we went to her mom's work party. Her mom works at a movie theater, so we just went an hung out. One of the other managers is a legit ghost hunter, so we sat in the big theater with all the lights off while she told us real ghost stories- SO scary!! I screamed a lot. I'm a baby when it comes to that stuff! haha but check out her website! (dcpit.net) It's dang creepy :)
After work on Friday I went up the canyon with a bunch of people to watch the meteor shower. We had so much fun, but I do have to admit that was the lamest meteor shower I've ever seen. Maybe I didn't know what to expect, but I seriously only saw 3 meteor/shooting star things. I imagined it like a shower! Like tons falling! But it was still fun nonetheless!
Tonight my cute best friend is coming to sleep over and we are going to party hard core! Now if only we knew cute boys ;)

i love awkward situations..

Caitlyn and I have been planning to go to the haunted forest for probably 3 weeks now, but every time we try to go we get bailed on- and we definitely don't want to go by ourselves! We need cute boys, right? :) So on Tuesday we started inviting tons of people to go, and by the day we were going there was only going to be 4 of us. Lame. Caitlyn's "guy friend" said he didn't have the money, so she was going to pay for him, so we decided to just make it a double date anyway. Well about an hour before we were leaving the lame-o I was going to go with called and canceled because another girl had just called and asked him on a date. Rude. We didn't want to have to cancel again, so we had to find another guy for me to go with! We called CJ (Caitlyn's date) and asked if he had any cute friends and he said he had one! So yay for a blind date. haha. It was good though. It was way fun! He was way cute, and even held my hand- ha. However, in the course of the awkward getting to know you conversation, I asked him where he lived and he said Ventana! Crazy! So he told me what building he lived in and said come visit sometime. After the haunted forest, we took the boy's back to CJ's house and they said they were having a sleepover and were tired so we left. Us girls decided to be creeps and find this kid's apartment, just for future reference since he was sleeping over at CJ's house anyway! :) After we found it and as we were getting off the elevator to leave, the elevator doors open and guess who is standing there. My date. Most awkward thing of my entire life! It would have been different if we lived in the same building, but no. Then he gave me a hug and was like "long time no see, eh?" I am traumatized. He probably thinks I'm the biggest creep. Thank goodness one of these days I'll be able to look back on it and laugh. And hopefully sooner than later.

life is good

I want you all to meet my best friend, Caitlyn... She is seriously the cutest thing ever. We have so much fun together. We have 2 classes together- that's how we met- so we see each other everyday. We have sleepovers all the time and hang out any free time that we have. I love her so much. She is seriously so great. I'm so glad that I have found a real best friend that I can have so much fun with! She is a friend that I hope to keep forever. And when you all come for Christmas, you better believe you will be meeting her!
